Location: Montreal, Quebec
Montreal has been my city for 20 years. I can't think of a better word to describe it. Everything is a bit 'crooked', this city is clearly marked by imperfection, it 'patches' its flaws permanently, it abounds in ideas to transform the ugly into beautiful, it tricks us without betting on its aesthetic attributes, the charm is elsewhere, much deeper. But as with our best friend, a sister, we forgive her everything: the electric wires that cling as best they can to the wooden poles, the facades that leave something to be desired, the store windows that haven't changed in thirty years, the potholes that wake up the sleeping driver, and so on... Here is my tribute. Montreal, you're beautiful.
