It's an understatement to say that the current times bring us intense moments. Having the chance to share them with two or more people seems like a great privilege. When it is not chosen and accepted, solitude in all its forms weighs on us. Working in pair seems the minimum to get through this pandemic tumult. Also is there anything richer than to privilege pair relationships in which complicity, solidarity and feelings are expressed more simply, more directly and with no need to pretend ?
From my point of view, with or without vaccine, we will at least make progress on one point ; the awareness of the importance we must place on relationship quality and the resulting happiness.
These thoughts are inspired by a selection of photographs taken during the summer of 2020 on the occasion of a work carried out for the City of Montreal (Service de Développement).
