As a photographer, I had the immense privilege of capturing a unique event where gastronomy met automotive innovation. This ambitious project, orchestrated by Mercedes-Benz, brought together two exceptional Quebec chefs: J-C Poirier of Vancouver's Michelin-starred St. Lawrence and Simon Mathys of Montreal's renowned Mastard. My aim was to capture not only the visual beauty of the dishes, but also the essence of the collaboration between these two talents.
Through my lens, I immortalized the moments of preparation in the kitchen, the creative exchanges between the chefs, and the expressions of satisfaction from the diners. Each image tells a story of passion, innovation, and respect for culinary traditions, while showcasing a modern, refined aesthetic.It was a rewarding experience to document how technology and sustainability can inspire and transform the culinary arts.
